Original watercolors: I paint original watercolors on 100% cotton, acid-free watercolor paper. I use highest-quality professional-grade archival watercolor paints, soft pastels, pens, pencils, and mediums.
Prints and giclee prints are available in limited or unlimited editions. Each print specifies whether it is a giclée and is signed and numbered by me. Prints may have slight ratio variations as the original art is resized and/or minor differences in color proper of print editions.
Prints: I have selected Epson Enhanced Matte for my card-format prints. This is an archival-quality paper, and they are printed using Epson archival ink compatibility for exceptional lightfastness.
Giclée: I have selected Epson ColdPress Natural, 305 g/m2, a 100% cotton cold press, for my giclée prints. This paper is acid, lignin and chlorine free, and pH buffered to preserve fine art.
Frames: The artwork that is already framed was professionally framed with archival materials and anti-reflective, UV-filtering art glass.
These are simple tips you can follow to preserve your investment and enjoy your art for many, many years:
- Wear gloves to handle your prints at the margins with no pigment. Don’t touch the printed area, even if you are wearing gloves.
- Keep them in a cool, dry, and shady place. To exhibit your art, frame it and choose a place that doesn’t receive direct sunlight and won’t be exposed to big swings in temperature and humidity.
- Frame it behind UV filter glass or perspex with archival materials. You will receive your prints, each protected by clear archival bags. Keep the prints in their bags until framed.
- Store with care. The artwork (original or print) will be sent in a clean, acid-free bag, sometimes with an acid-free backboard to help prevent damage. Please keep it in this package until you exhibit it in a cool, dry, and shady place, in a position that won’t damage the paper (preferably horizontally).
